Cass Palmer joined the City of North Las Vegas leadership team in February 2015 as Director of Neighborhood and Leisure Services. Mr Palmer oversees the department that provides such services to the community, as recreation and event programming for all city parks, Safekey and summer camps, and housing and neighborhood services.

Mr Palmer has more than 23 years experience in the gaming and hospitality industry, government and political arenas, non-profit organizations and union environments.  Cass has served as the President and CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada since 2011 and previously was the senior vice president, chief human resource officer at Tropicana Entertainment, which was the first major company in the gaming industry to successfully complete a Chapter 11 reorganization.  Mr Palmer also worked as the corporate vice president of human resources for Olympia Gamming LLC/Southern Highlands Development Corporation, the corporate vice president of human resources at Bally's/Park Place Entertainment.
